LLC Goes to College

LLC Goes to College: UC Davis!

On November 9th, LLC took 50 students to visit the UC Davis college campus.  Students received a campus tour and admissions presentation.  We are proud of our students' interest in post-secondary options!

College-Ready with LLC!

LLC believes that the earlier students are aware of opportunities after high school, the better prepared they can be at setting goals and working in school to reach those goals.  Since a college education can be a promising pathway to a successful life after high school, we are presenting this special opportunity for your child.  Needless to say, we are excited that your child is interested in attending our field trip to Sonoma State University.

The Sonoma State campus is adjacent to Cotati and Rohnert Park, roughly 50 miles north of San Francisco.  Students will have the chance to explore the campus with a Sonoma State University staff-guided tour.  Additionally, they will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive information from a college student panel.  Students will learn of the different opportunities available to them at a state university.  Also, students will get to feel what it’s like to be on a college campus, an experience that some will have for the first time!

If you have questions about the field trip or about LLC, please let one of us know.  We are happy to be leading such a creative, hard-working, bright, and talented small learning community.

Please take the time to visit Sonoma State’s website: http://www.sonoma.edu/.
