The science department at San Lorenzo High School offers a broad range of courses to meet your student's interest. Courses in the science department are designed to balance content knowledge as well as science process and skills. All students have the opportunity to earn UC "d" credit (lab science) in their required 9th and 10th grade science courses (Conceptual Physics and Biology). In addition students take Health in their 9th grade year - which is a graduation requirement. After taking these required classes, students have a choice of: Chemistry (d), AP Chemistry (d), Physics (d), Anatomy (d), Patterns in Disease, Environmental Science (g), and Astronomy (g).
