¿HABLAS ESPAÑOL? Spanish at San Lorenzo

Our Spanish teachers are prepared to teach both the novice and the experienced Spanish speaker.  These college preparatory courses will expose you to many elements of language and culture of Spanish speakers from various parts of the world, including many lessons about food!

Why study a language at San Lorenzo?

  • College preparation – UC schools require two courses of world language.  They recommend more!
  • Cultural awareness – Learning a language helps you better understand and communicate with diverse peoples of the world.
  • Develop marketable skills – Given our global economy, chances are high that being multilingual will help you in your future career.
  • Build academic skills – Research has shown that students who study world languages perform better on standardized tests like the SAT.  Your new vocabulary will help you succeed in school!
