SLz Students Run the Farm

The new farm at SLZ is a student directed project, with overall design and plant selection directed by students.  Come out and taste the real food difference.  Produce from the farm is used in cooking classes, and is available for contributing students to take home to their families.

Teachers also use the farm for outdoor classes.  Check out some of the latest lessons that have used the farm!

Drop in Community Service Hours: Wednesdays 3:30-4:30.

Come by and help plant, harvest, and build our farm.  A meal from the farm will be served at the end of the day.  Past meals include veggie stir fry, garden omelettes, and salsas.  Participating students may take home produce.  Volunteers receive community service hours towards school credit with participating teachers.
