Science Department Grants

NASA LIFTOFF

Through the NASA LIFTOFF Grant, SLz science teachers will partner with NASA scientists to incorporate real mission data into science inquiry projects. Students will be able to interact with real NASA scientists and engage in authentic science investigations.

HP Innovations in Technology

SLz was one of many schools nationwide to be awarded a suite of technology including laptops, data probeware, and video conferencing tools, to support the development of an innovative project that engages students. The SLz science department will use this grant to create a "Science of Sustainability" Education Center on campus. Learn more about this project!
