Summer Work Opportunities

Find your own!

Talk to your family, friends and neighbors about any summer employment opportunities in your area!  Ask local employers at stores and fast food restaurants.  If you find an employer, you will need to get a work permit to work legally. You can get a work permit in A-8 now or during the summer work permits are available at the school district office on Usher Street. 

Life Guards Wanted       Sequoyah Country Club in the Oakland Hills is looking for summer pool life guards. Applicants must have Life Guard, CPR and First Aid certifications.  Pay starts @ $9.50 per hour.  Email your resume and references to pool@sequoyah.com. Check flyer in counseling for more info.

Employment Plus II Program Youth Enrichment Services

The Youth Enrichment Services provides a system of training, education, career development and employment services to eligible youth between the ages of 16-21.This program offers students:
